Interesting Visits
Somehow, I got involved with a USDA project with OSU Extension and our friends at Rural Action. It is about assisting small businesses that may have needs during this pandemic. It has been very rewarding to stop by and see so many of you in the county. It is a business retention and expansion project to help determine what type of assistance is available to our small businesses in the county, especially during these challenging times. Most are hanging in there, a few are really struggling, but some are actually doing very well due to people not traveling as far as often. Buying habits have changed as well. If you have a small business and would like to participate in the survey, give me a call and I will send the link to the survey or mail you a copy. In the meantime, I think one of the best things we can do is to continue to support our local businesses.
