Just in Time

I spend a lot of time talking about the weather, but for so many, it is really important and is a major part of everyday life. Whether it is flooding along the river or creeks, or if it is a drought as so many have to haul water for home use. I had over 1.5” of rain last week, and it really helped. The pastures and lawn are growing good, and the creeks are running. Some springs are slow, but I have plenty of water here at the house and for the livestock. It is even raining here Monday morning. Hopefully, the rain will help finish up crops for the season, help pastures grow for fall grazing, and many will not have to haul as much water. Overall, we have had a dry summer, but it could have been a lot worse.
