This Columbus Day, the Chesterhill Produce Auction (CPA) will be filled with the smell of freshly baked pies. The annual Pie Day Fundraiser will take place at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, bringing together community members, bakers, farmers, elected officials, regular auction-goers, and first-timers. A regular fresh produce auction will follow at 4 p.m.

Everyone will have the opportunity to taste as many pies as they’d like for $5 and to rate them based on flavor, appearance, crust, and creativity. The baker of the winning pie will receive a fun prize and a “Voted Best Pie 2019” poster. More importantly, attendees will bid on their favorite pies in order to raise money for School Day at the CPA.
