COVID-19 UPDATE: In the last two weeks, Ohio reported over 2,000 new positive cases of COVID-19 on ten of the last 14 days (October 12-25). Prior to this, there had never been more than 2,000 cases in a single day in Ohio during the pandemic. Morgan County has seen an increase of 23 new cases in the last 14 days (October 12-25). Currently, Morgan County has 18 active cases who are in isolation and 27 individuals who are currently quarantined at home in Morgan County due to close contact exposure to a positive case.

Last week, only four of Ohio's 88 counties were Level 1-YELLOW on the Public Health Advisory System. Over 92.8% of Ohioans are living in a county that is red or high incidence. This is the highest measurement since the development of the Public Health Advisory Level System. Morgan County is currently listed as an ORANGE county and was designated as a "High Incidence" county – meaning our case count in the past two weeks exceeds 100 cases per 100,000 residents.
