Foundation for Appalachian Ohio doubles Morgan Fortuna Grant monies Adds grant opportunity for black-led organizations
The Morgan Community Fund and the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio combined resources this week to help local non-profit and public organizations in Morgan County extend a helping hand to people affected by COVID-19.
The Morgan Community Fund’s Fortuna Grant program deadline is extended to December 15, 2020 and the amount is doubled from $10,000 to $20,000. The doubled amount is a result of a generous match from the Foundation for Appalachian Ohio and its I’m a Child of Appalachia® Fund. All grants must benefit the Morgan County community and grant awards will range between $500 and $5,000. An online application is now available at www.AppalachianOhio.org/Morgan. Fortuna Grant applications can also be mailed to: The Morgan Community Fund, P.O. Box 577, McConnelsville, OH 43756.
