Former local banker and longtime volunteer fireman Randy Williams was recently appointed to fill an unexpired term as Morgan County Treasurer. Williams began his appointment on April 16, having been sworn in a day earlier. He is assisted by Amanda Greer and Jennifer Strohl, who have been working in the office for nearly a year and a half. County treasurers have a four-year term which starts in September, 10 months after they are elected. (Government offices are staggered with different terms for continuity.)

He will remain in office until at least September of 2021, depending on the outcome of the 2020 election.
