It was with hesitation that the school board accepted the resignation of Morgan Junior High School’s Principal Tim Hopkins during the Morgan Local School Board Meeting on Monday, June 10. Each and every board member expressed their sadness towards Hopkins’s decision to turn in his keys after 19 years at the driver’s seat of the junior high, but it was passed unanimously. They wished him luck with all his future endeavors and hoped he’d consider coming back in another capacity for the district. Hopkins’s retirement became effective June 30, 2019.

Teresa Bowen shared that Tim was her principal during her teaching years at the junior high, and she enjoyed working with him. “It’s a tough job, Bowen exclaimed. “I hope you enjoy your retirement.”
