The Morgan County Board of Education emotionally, and with regret, accepted the resignation of Superintendent Lori Snyder-Lowe. Lowe will remain connected to the district at a higher level as she has accepted a position with influence and responsibility over several counties, one of which is Morgan. The board expressed its appreciation for all the superintendent’s hard work and dedication which has benefitted the district and the students.

The regular meeting of the Morgan County Board of Education took place on Monday, May 13, at the high school. President Mary Pat Hanson convened the meeting at 7 p.m. All members were present. Member Rick Rose opened with the invocation, and Superintendent Lowe led the board in the Pledge of Allegiance. The minutes of the previous meeting were approved without exception.
