During 2019, Morgan County Court Judge Michael Lowe presided over civil, criminal and traffic cases, along with felonies that were filed prior to grand jury proceedings and conducted both jury and court trials.

The Morgan County Court processed 849 criminal cases during 2019 which included criminal felony, criminal misdemeanor, OVI traffic and miscellaneous other traffic offenses. In addition, the court processed 178 civil cases which included contract disputes, evictions, small claims, BMV driving privileges, personal injury/property damage and rent escrow cases. These cases resulted in 2,665 court proceedings and the collection and disbursement of $157,159.
