The students at Morgan High may have started coming home and asking for spare change. Usually, it’s for extra food at the cafeteria, but this month, it’s going to a great cause instead.

Kylyn Woodward, a 2020 Morgan grad, was recently diagnosed with a rare brain tumor called Diffuse Midline Glioma, which is a form of pediatric cancer. Woodward has undergone surgery to place a shunt to remove the spinal fluid that is collecting in her brain. She just started radiation and chemo treatments which will require several trips each week to both OSU and Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus.
