The “Old Armory” building has long been an iconic building in the village of McConnelsville. Rebuilt after the Great Flood of 1913, this building housed the Ohio National Guard up until about 30 years ago when the HAWK missile site made its way to Morgan County.

After its years serving military personnel, the building was then used for basketball practices, dances, meeting space, wedding space, event space, as well as a semi-pro boxing space. The previous owner made some minor renovations, but when John Walter Finley purchased the building in 2018, he had dreams of turning this historical property into a space that could be beneficial to the community.
