Support for veterans, law enforcement permeates Beverly Council meeting

Beverly held its latest monthly village council meeting on Wednesday, Sept. 9, and with it came two proclamations.

To honor fallen soldiers on behalf of the village, Mayor Jim Ullman read the first proclamation supporting the upcoming National POW/MIA Recognition Day on September 18. The statement declares the POW/ MIA flag will fly at the municipal building in Beverly on that day.
