Roger Lee Shuster, 72, of Stockport, passed away at 3:40 p.m. Saturday, July 6, 2019, at his home.

He was born April 18, 1947, in Zanesville, to the late Marcus Shuster and Evelyn Sines Shuster.

Roger worked at Ohio Fero Alloy for 18 years, was a school bus driver for Morgan Local Schools for 25 years, and also was a truck driver for Burkhart Trucking for 11 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Roger enjoyed bowling and was a big Cleveland Indians fan.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Martha Ash Shuster; three sons, Dale (Karen) Shuster of Dayton, John (Jessica) Ash of Vienna, WV, and Stephen (Kimberly) Shuster of Stockport; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Also surviving is a sister, Carolyn Jenkins of McConnelsville; four brothers, Don, William, Roy, and Richard Shuster, all of McConnelsville.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Shuster.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Arva Lowther and Buckeye Hospice and to Dalton and Mia for being such special and loving grandchildren.

Calling hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 9, at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 7 p.m., with Connie Huck officiating. Military honors will be provided by the American Legion Post No. 24 Color Guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
