After lightning postpones game, Scotties blank Raiders

The Morgan Raider football team dropped its season opener in a 38-0 Muskingum Valley League crossover to Tri-Valley, at Jack Anderson Stadium, in Dresden Saturday night.

The Raiders play their home and MVL Small School Division opener this Friday night when they entertain Coshocton at the Athletic Field at 7 p.m. The Redskins opened the season with a 30-27 loss to Coshocton County rival River View. It will be Senior Night for the Raiders honoring members of the football team, cheerleading squad and band.
