The guiding force behind turning the Morgan Raider soccer program into a competitive winner has decided it is time to turn the reigns over to a new leader. The Morgan Board of Education accepted the resignation of Greg Jacomet as the Raider soccer coach at its November meeting.

Jacomet coached six of the past seven seasons. Due to being on military deployment, he missed the 2015 season as his brother Joe served as interim coach. The six years tie him with Barry Ross (2005-2010) for the longest-serving Raider soccer coach. Before Jacomet arrived in 2013, the Raiders had won a total of 43 matches in their first 17 years of existence. In his six seasons, Morgan was 54-40-9 (.568) overall and 29-22-4 (.544) in the Muskingum Valley League.
