On a rain-drenched Morgan soccer pitch, the Lady Raiders scored their second tournament win in school history with a 4-0 victory over Harrison Central. Morgan would suffer a 9-0 loss to John Glenn in the sectional finals.
The Harrison Central Lady Huskies made the two-plus hour trip to Morgan County for a sectional semifinal contest on October 19. The rain that fell from Sunday into Monday afternoon found the Morgan soccer pitch drenched with a few water puddles here and there. The Lady Raiders had four different players score as they slogged their way to the “clean sheet” tournament victory.
