The Morgan Malconta Post 24 eighth-grade baseball team split two close contests last week. The Raiders beat Tri-Valley Black 4-3, but lost to Sheridan 5-3.

Post 24 will be road warriors for the final week of the regular-season scheduled to play four games in five days. It was to start last night (Tuesday) with a trip to John Glenn Quanex. Morgan goes to Maysville on Thursday and Philo on Saturday for 6 p.m. contests. They end the regular-season with a unique doubleheader in Northern Musking­um County on Sunday. The Raiders will play Tri-Valley Gold at Kenny Wolford Park at 1 p.m. After that game, they will make the short trip to Frazeysburg's Frew Memorial Park to face off with Tri-Valley Black at 5 p.m.
