In a night of big plays, the Amanda-Clearcreek Aces made the plays in crunch time to defeat the Morgan Raiders 43-24 in the first round of the Division V Region 19 state playoffs.

Even though the Raiders have been eliminated from the postseason, they can play three more regular-season games to have a ten-game schedule in this year of COVID-19. This Friday night, Morgan will travel to the Maysville Athletic Complex to face off with the Panthers. Maysville (2-5) was eliminated from the postseason in a 43-0 loss to backyard rival Philo. In the regular season the week before, Maysville had defeated Philo 43-42 in overtime. Morgan is scheduled to travel to Hebron Lakewood in week nine.
