River-rivals battle in five grueling sets on volleyball court; Lady Cats outdueled Lady Cadets 3-2

ESPN would call it an instant classic. The most recent incarnation of the Waterford-Fort Frye volleyball series took a grueling five sets as the host Lady Wildcats won 3-2 at the Harry W. Cooper Annex.

“The Fort Frye game was one of the best games I have seen our team play. It was very exciting and good volleyball all around,” exclaimed Waterford Volleyball Coach Kim Barker. Fort Frye is a solid, well-coached team, and we knew it was going to be competitive.”
