Danny Ray McMannis
Danny Ray McMannis, 55, of McConnelsville, passed away Monday, April 9, 2018, in Los Angeles, CA, from a heart attack.
Born October 24, 1962, in Beverly, OH, to Carl “Popeye” (Betty) McMannis and Phyllis (Ralph) Lockwood, both of McConnelsville.
He was longtime power linemen with Local No. 71.
He is survived by his eight children, Danielle (Mike) Eckert, Josh (Grace) McMannis, Heather McMannis, Jesse Kimble, Jipsi (Jeffery) Sweeney, Dani Rae McMannis, Hannah McMannis, and Ivy Genske and Fiancé Susan Dempster; and 14 grandkids, Dakota Walters, Seth Jones, Kiya Jones, Katelyn McLean, Kyle McMannis, Olivia McMannis, Eleanor McMannis, Hayden Wisman, Wesley Pauley, Owen Robinson, Parker Sweeney, Ryleigh Sweeney, Zachary Miller, and Zaryleigh Miller.
He is proceeded in death by his grandparents, Mary and Curtis Gannon, Leonard McDaniel and Loretta Coler; and a grandson, Jackson Schnell.
There will be a graveside service for family and friends at a later date.
