Norma Ernestine “Trixie” Clifton Brower Ball


Norma Ernestine “Trixie” Clifton Brower Ball, 83, died Monday, June 27, 2022, in Marietta, Ohio.

She was born in Reinersville, Ohio, May 24, 1939, to Ernest Horatio Clifton and Eda Leoma Henry Clifton Hall.

Surviving are the Brower children, Leonard (Sherri), Christine, James (Brenda), and Phillip; grandchildren, April Livingston, Cassandra (Davey) Peterson, Jody (Jon) Brower, Rachel (Charles) Heiss, Patrick (Jennifer) Horner, Norma (Michael) Scott, Titus (Danielle) Robison, LeeAnn Carpenter, Michael (Jennifer) Brower, Amanda (Mark) Warren, Samantha Brower, Phillip Brower Jr., and Johnathon Brower; 28 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews; and wonderful friends.

Norma had a long nursing career which was a joy to her heart. So loved by family, friends, and strangers. 1 Corinthians 13:2… have not charity, I am nothing. She was everything.

Preceeding her in death are her parents; husbands, James Brower and William Ball; stepfather, Edwin Hall; brother, Daryl Clifton; 10 Clifton half-siblings, Bert, Fred, Chet, Olen, John, Calvin, Robert, Bernice, Gladys, and Mary; and one great-grandchild.

She was bequeathed to Ohio University, The Body Donor Program.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, July 9, in the Fellowship Hall, Cornerstone Full Gospel Church, Duncan Falls, Ohio.
